Youth Sport Section

The Sporting Section of the Yacht Club de Monaco offers members a wide variety of sailing activities adapted to their age, level and nautical experience group.
All training and courses using Optimist or Laser craft are supervised by Marco Stevenazzi. Courses and coaching are conducted throughout the year by six instructors and Coaches who hold State
Qualifications. The youngest, from 6 years old, can begin by learning on the Optimists, available all year round. Then depending on their physical fitness and motivation they can go on to join a team and compete either in the Optimist or Laser class (single-handed). One week half day courses (morning or afternoon) on Optimists and Laser Picos are also on offer.
